Ways delivers UC’s intranet on Office 365
UC has chosen Ways as supplier of its new intranet. The new solution allows UC’s employees to collaborate more easily.
We needed to improve and revamp the way we collaborated between units and co-workers. We decided early on to have the new solution in SharePoint, says Roland Sigbladh, UC’s marketing manager.
After having carefully searched the market and met with different suppliers we decided to go for Ways. We look forward to good collaboration where we together create the ways of working of the future.
Can you point to any immediate impact that you have seen with the new solution?
We have a microblog called Säljboosten [in English: The Sales Boost] that is a social component in our intranet. It’s really been a welcome feature and has been very well received. One direct effect that we’ve been able to measure is that the number of unnecessary e-mails has fallen drastically, he goes on.
I see UC’s choice of Ways as proof of our ability to understand our customer’s business at the same time as they create great value at a reasonable cost. I look forward to a long-term collaboration with a modern customer, says Ways CEO Per Rolder.
The solution is based on Microsoft SharePoint in Office 365. The project began about a year ago with a requirement specification and a pre-study and was launched globally during 2014, making UC one of our first customers to go live with a customised solution in Office 365.
