The company has over 250 employees working in various projects and departments. In order to constantly develop its business and deliver high-quality solutions to its customers, ELU Konsult AB has a culture that encourages suggestions for improvement. These suggestions can range from optimizing work processes, improving the work environment, saving time and money, or increasing customer satisfaction.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Previously, ELU Konsult AB used a manual method to handle improvement suggestions. Employees wrote down their suggestions on paper or in a Word document and sent them to the person responsible for the area the suggestion concerned. As a result, many suggestions were lost, forgotten, or not given the attention they deserved. In addition, it was difficult for staff to get feedback on their suggestions and follow up on their implementation.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The solution<\/h2>\n\n<p>Ways helped ELU Konsult AB to create a digital workflow for improvement suggestions. The workflow consists of a list where employees can create new improvement suggestions and see the status of their previous suggestions. When a new suggestion is created in the list, an email is automatically sent to the person responsible for the area to which the suggestion relates. The email contains a link to the improvement proposal. The responsible person can then review the suggestion and either accept, reject or request more information. When the status of the suggestion is changed, a new email is sent to the original creator of the suggestion, so that they can see how the suggestion has been handled.     <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The result<\/h2>\n\n<p>The new workflow for improvement suggestions has led to several positive effects for ELU Konsult AB. First, it has increased engagement and motivation among employees, who now feel that their suggestions are taken seriously and receive prompt feedback. Secondly, it has improved communication and collaboration between different departments and projects, who can now share their experiences and lessons learned.
